Water4Hussain, inspired by this great savior of humanity, is dedicated to providing services honoring the legacy of Hussain (a). We believe that through providing free, clean water and spreading awareness, we can inspire others to uphold the values of Hussain (a).
The Incident
of Karbala
The desert of Karbala witnessed the most tragic event in the history of mankind, which changed the apparent meaning of victory forever. Hussain sacrificed everything his life, family, and companions; however, his stand against oppression and tyranny became a symbol of truth, justice, and courage.
Hussain, the most courageous man who lived on this earth, endured three days of thirst but was not shattered by the oppression. He had a choice but he preferred to see his children, including 6 months old and 18 years old being murdered in front of him along with 72 others family members, brothers and companions over accepting injustice by the tyrant of that time.

ABOUT HUSSAIN
Water4Hussain is distributing free water. You may wonder, why? Hussain and his family were kept thirsty for 3 days in the desert of Karbala and brutally killed only because he stood for justice and freedom. The agonizing thirst and the unforgiving desert heat took a heavy toll on them, leaving them drained and dehydrated. Yet, their determination and faith remained unbroken, a testament to their unwavering conviction and selflessness.
